Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus and Nickel City Treble Makers Kick Off 2025–2026 Concert Season with Coming Out Day Celebration

BGMC has been a cornerstone of Buffalo’s arts and LGBTQ+ communities for over two decades

The Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus (BGMC) and Nickel City Treble Makers (NCTM) are launching their 2025–2026 concert season with an exciting lineup of performances that celebrate community, pride, and
the power of song.

The season begins with a special Coming Out Day performance on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Buffalo. This uplifting concert will feature both choruses joined by several area high school and college choirs in a joyful celebration of music and visibility.

Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to register in advance at thebgmc.org to reserve their spot.

The 2025–2026 season offers a dynamic mix of beloved traditions and bold new performances. December brings the return of BGMC’s much loved Holiday Concerts, filled with festive classics and choral warmth. In March, audiences can look forward to “Flaunt It,” a flirty and fun cabaret-style show celebrating pride and personality. In May, the Nickel City Treble Makers will take the spotlight with their first-ever solo concert, aptly titled “Make Good Treble.” The season concludes with “Ode to the Icons,” a dazzling finale honoring musical and cultural legends and featuring special guest appearances by RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Mrs. Kasha
Davis.

Together, these performances showcase the range, artistry, and heart of Buffalo’s LGBTQ+ choral community.

The Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus has been a cornerstone of Buffalo’s arts and LGBTQ+ communities for over two decades. The chorus is composed of Tenor, Baritone, and Bass voices and has built a reputation for heartfelt performances that inspire, entertain, and advocate for inclusivity through song. The Nickel City Treble Makers joined the family in 2024 as a vibrant new group featuring Soprano and Alto voices with a mission of singing for social justice. Together, the two choruses represent a full spectrum of sound and spirit, expanding BGMC’s mission of harmony and acceptance for all.
